On July 29th Ben Antrim’s student John Latimer had his company’s interns take flights. Flight Instructors Ben Antrim and Dan Brooks gave the students their flights in N83993 and N43956. From the photos, they looked like they had a great flight and a beautiful day to fly.
Freeflight members, Frank, Barbara, Rob, Jan, Emily, Marianna, Joel, Robert, Al, Chris, and Julius all attended Oshkosh. Frank and Barbara left on Saturday July 23 and enjoyed a slow flight to Oshkosh in their C172, arriving on their 3rd day of travel to Oshkosh. Rob and Jan left early the following Monday morning in a Piper Cherokee and arrived in Appleton later in the day. Julius also departed on Saturday in the Diamond DA40 and arrived at Oshkosh. Frank and Barbara, being adventuous, camped at the North 40 for the week. Emily, Maranna, Robert, and Joel flew out commerically. Emily was able to return to NJ with Rob and Jan in the Piper Cherokee. Allen flew his Twin Comanche, and was join in his flight by Al, Chris, and Howard. Each of us had our own adventures, but met friends, had dinner at times together, and then off again to enjoy our Aviation Mecca, Oshkosh.
