Baby it’s Cold Outside!

Jan25

Aircraft are not designed for cold weather.  We have found a few great articles on cold weather flying.  One from AOPA – The Weather Never Sleeps, from Skybrary – Cold Weather Operations Checklist for VFR Flights, a few links from Aviation Safety, and from the CAP – a C172 cold weather starting incident.  Good recommendations include: check your POH for cold weather procedures, a good preflight, check for fuel contamination, and of course, weather conditions.  Be careful out there.

Oh Yes, Baby It’s Very Cold Outside!
