Winter Movements
Feb20
“My old grandmother always used to say, Summer friends will melt away like summer snows, but winter friends are friends forever.”
― George R.R. Martin, A Feast for Crows
UAV’s, UAS’s, Drones. What are the differences?
What are the FAA RULES and REGULATIONS for Sport vs. Commercial Operations?
Freeflight Aviation will be offering a FREE Seminar on Saturday, February 27 at the Flying W Airport in Medford NJ on this subject, starting at 10 AM.
Josh Brown, CEO of Icarus Aerospace, will discuss the differences of these systems, the regulatory rules related to hobby sport vs. commercial operations, FAA registration rules for these vehicles, terrorist concerns, and insurance recommendations. Josh will also discuss job market openings in the industry including skills requirements and training avenues for today’s industries.
We recommend pilots and hobbyists attend this seminar. This will help educate everyone in aviation to understand the FAA rules and regulations for these systems, how to notice if these systems are violating their rules, acting suspicious, and how to report questionable activities to the proper authorities. For hobbyists, you can learn about registering your vehicles with the FAA.
The presentation will be located in the “Red Barn” Lounge Restaurant Area of the Flying W Airport. Please sign up for this seminar so we have a head count.
Icarus Aerospace is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) focused on bringing the technological advancements of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles/Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAV/UAS) into the foreground of aviation.
