I’m Going to Start My Flight Training
The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has FAA Practical Test Standards (PTS) requirements for all students taking flight training. It might seem like alot of material. It’s the challenge and fun of learning, while we, the student, progress in our flight training. We grow as a person, aquiring all this knowledge, learning about weather, navigation, airspace, etc., that we as student pilots really enjoy.
Please note: The FAA Private Pilot Practical Test Standards for Airplane has been superseded by the Private Pilot Airman Certification Standards. as of June 2016

These aluminum aircraft know as the PA28 Series are 4-seat low fixed-winged aircraft with a four cylinder 160 horsepower Lycoming reciprocating engine. These aircraft are used by our Freeflight Members for flight training, for fun flying, and trips.
Also part of the Piper PA28 Series, this 4-seat aluminum low fixed-winged aircraft has the four cylinder 180 horse power Lycoming reciprocating engine. Although this aircraft can be used for flight training, our Freeflight Members prefer the Archer for fun flying and trip taking due to the increase speed and weight the aircraft can carry.
The Piper Arrow is the only complex single-engine trainer aircraft built today. With familiar controls and handling characteristics as other Piper trainers, it provides an easy transition for students moving up to a complex aircraft.
